The JBox D/G is pretty much the original "all electronic" sliding door system, it is not digital, but it is state of the art for its vintage, and though there is now, the Digital 521 control board, most of the Dura Glide today is the same exact setup as the J Box - minus the control board swap and the need for an Interface Board. Before the Duraglide its older cousin the Dynaglide was the "Flagship Model" there were cables, messy bearing blocks & linear drive systems that were great in "their" vintage but as the public began to move faster, the doors couldnt keep up without high maintenance. This course will go through the Complete Duraglide System, with the JBOX set up, there will be Nothing left out from the power switch, through the complete belt drive system, to every connection possible on the interface board, down to every last adjustment on the Jbox control itself. There are not only millions of these doors in service right now, but companies sell "kits" so you can change a Duraglide with a newer digital control setup, "BACK" to the JBox setup! When your done with this course you'll hope your next door repair is a Jbox, because once you get how straight forward the system is, it will be the easiest door system around & your favorite to service.
